What do machine and plant operators do?
Machine and system operators set up, convert and operate machines and systems in production. They control and monitor the flow of materials and optimise machine utilisation. They are also responsible for the maintenance and servicing of machines and systems. Their work processes are coordinated with the upstream and downstream areas. They select test methods and equipment and decide on materials and suitable production techniques as well as the economical and environmentally friendly use of energy and materials. They carry out process and performance-related calculations and document production data. In short, they ensure that the production process runs smoothly.

Bei uns bekommst du Einblick in die abwechslungsreiche Praxis des Metallbaus: Durch unsere hohe Fertigungstiefe lernst du die große Bandbreite von der einfachen mechanischen Maschine bis hin zur hochautomatisierten Anlage kennen und darfst dich auf eine spannende Tätigkeit in einem freundlichen Arbeitsklima freuen. Die Dauer deiner Ausbildung beträgt 3 Jahre.

You should be interested in technology, enjoy modern machine, plant and control systems and work responsibly. We expect you to have at least a satisfactory secondary school leaving certificate and in any case a great deal of commitment.
